A week-long adventure on an ecological farm to dive into the depth of meditation and yoga

For those who yearn for a deeper understanding of meditation and yoga, or those who want to transform their practices to the next level. Ideally, you would usually have attended a course of classes and/or introductory weekend retreat, and be practicing at home.

The programme includes daily asana class, meditation twice a day, inspiring workshops, hands-on experience on organic farming, walking in the nature, music and cultural performances. We will also do a one day fast (optionally), enjoy delicious vegetarian/vegan food, swim, play and meditate and collectively share an unforgettable experience!

Bring: organic toiletries, warm cloths and bathing suits

Please do not bring alcohol, drugs, music players or video games to the camp.

Sunrise Farm is a 38 acre ecological farm and bakery located in the Slieve Aughty mountains overlooking Lough Derg, the second longest lake in Ireland. The accommodation is basic and simple. The nearest airport is Shannon, and the nearest towns are Portumna, Limmerick and Ennis. For further information please see sunrisefarmireland.org.

Transportation
Apart from the options below we are also looking at collective transportation from the UK. Please let us know where you are travelling from when you register online and we can further advise you on that!

Rail and sail to Dublin, then a three-hour bus ride to Portumna.
Flight: Aer Lingus often has good deals on flights directly into Shannon , where we can be pick you up. Another option is to fly into Dublin. Ryan Air has flights from Gatwick and Stanstad in London to Shannon and Dublin.

International Yoga Day 21st June

June 21st is International Yoga day as declared by the United Nations. There will be an open house celebration and you are welcome to stay for the festivities.
