Summer Camp Wales 14 – 21 August 2013

Following the success of last year’s Summer Camp, we are inspired to run it again this year. We have the same beautiful field in central Wales available to us from the 14th to the 21st of August. You can come for the whole week or just for a few days. Cost is £50 per adult and children up to 18 attend free.

Once again we will set camp with our two large marquees, build compost toilets and natural showers, in preparation for a week of living in harmony with the land.

There will be fun and games for children of all ages and walks through the countryside.

We will cook our meals together, on an open fire and enjoy satsaunga (company of those who have an interest in spirituality), beneath the canopy of a twilight sky (or a marquee, depending on the weather)

All this, and sharing devotional practices, ideology and discussion of spiritual philosophy.

The camp is a collective endeavour, a taste of living in community without the trappings of urban life. We work together to prepare our food and to manage our being on the land in harmony with the other living and non-living entities with which we are sharing this earth.

Before the camp can start, there is some work to do in setting up the marquees, digging and enclosing the toilets and building the shower area. We have all the equipment and tools for the camp, but need some more help with the set up. If you are able to arrive a day or two early and be part of the camp crew, please let us know: manchester@anandamarga.org.uk
